New Hire and Rehire Life event trigger without FF

Summary:

We are looking to have separate triggers which can work without a Fast Formula for New Hire & Rehire life events.

I expected ORIGINAL_DATE_OF_HIRE would trigger the New Hire life event, but it’s not working as expected, But the trigger works when I use DATE_START.

When will ORIGINAL_DATE_OF_HIRE work, it doesn't seems to be picked in backend tables as well.
