Open Enrolment and Life Events after the open enrolment
Summary:
The Open enrolment window is from 27 Oct to 20 Nov and the employee has elected his spouse in the Medical Plan. On Dec 1, the employee reports Divorce Life event and the spouse is unenrolled from the plan. This new life event for Divorce has unprocessed the Open Enrolment and the Open enrolment changes automatically to the Default Option of Medical Waive Plan. Also, we change the Spouse to Former Spouse, and the system could not find the eligible dependent. How do we ensure that the Open life enrolment is reinstated after the Divorce life event is reported.
