Automatically reassign a role (and back) to an employee's back up in case of leave/holiday

Dear Oracle Community,

In case an employee A is on planned leave (from a concrete date X to a concrete date Y), we would like to be able to reassign certain of his areas of responsibility to employee B for the time of his leave.

Is there any way to set this change in the system, so that from date X, the AOR is transferred to employee B, and at date Y the roles are automatically back to their previous owners ? And same thing in case employee A comes back earlier than planned from his leave ?

We already know the "REASSIGN" button in the Manage Employment>Manage Areas of Responsibility page, but it does not seem like it includes any functionality to automatically return to the previous situation.

Howdy, Stranger!
