Creating relationships with OFS data

we want to create relationships with integrated data from OFS which all comes in via text fields

Hi all,

First forum post so please be kind if this is an obvious answer.

We have data integrated from OFS into Service Cloud in text fields such as resource name and ID etc. I want to link these to the contacts table in OFS where all of our engineer data i.e. line manager etc is stored. The ultimate aim is to use the data to create dropwdowns on reports to filter by team, manager, etc.

I have all of the custom fields but I am struggling to create the relationships with the text fields - can anyone give me the heads up on how to do this please?
