Reopen a past pending activity to future dates

Hi Gurus,

If a supervisor does not routed to an activity to the technician and stays in the his bucket the whole day. The next day can the technician move yesterdays activity to current day?

How can this be acheived, as the supervisor is on leave and does not route. how the supervisor will assign the activity to the technician .

Or could this be automatically rolled back to future dates if not of the activity has been started.
