How to Mask Year in Date of Birth

Hello, 

I am attempting to produce a report that will give birthdays without year. 

We have masked the year by changing the column format to MM/DD. HOWEVER, we recently discovered that after exporting the report, years are still visible. 

All this really did was change the formatting to show MM/DD but not completely mask the year. 

We are looking to have this column either pull only month and day or MM/DD/XX replace years with xx?
