Requisition Approval from OIC/PaaS

Hi Experts ,

The requirement is to route the purchase requisition approval through custom roles and these roles are not associated to any HR Jobs, Position and also there is a requirement where the approvers are currently generated based on a custom table/value set 
so we can't route the approvals with standard approval options.  
 
We came up with below  options 

Option 1 - OIC

Handle the business logic in OIC to derive the approvers and submit the PR to the derived approvers
and finally update the PR with the approval status via API after final approvals.

Once the requestor submits the purchase requisition ,the approvers will be derived based on OIC logic and at each approval stage the
