Looking for tracking/API capability for Update Location function

Is there any tracking to the address correction (activity_update_location) process and/or is it possible to send notifications via the API when activities have the Update Location process used on them? We'd like to use the Update Location process as a way to let our back-end teams know that the customer's actual address record needs correction. This would eliminate additional steps Planners must take to submit notifications to those teams when they find a bad address on activities.
