Telephony integration in Service Center with the Redwood User Experience using UI Events Framework

edited Apr 23, 2024 9:01PM in Fusion Service 26 comments

Telephony partners and Systems Implementers can leverage the UI Events framework to integrate the media toolbar in Service Center with the Redwood User Experience.

UEF (UI Events Framework) is a library that allows third party applications to interact with Service Center at the UI level. It can listen to events generated from Service Center and perform actions in response to these events. UEF also supports the MCA (Multi Channel Architecture) events thereby creating a single code experience for customers.

UEF provides a single framework to customers that meets their multi-channel and bi-directional UI event communication requirements.

Note: CTI (Computer Telephony Integration) implementations based on our existing MCA (Multi Channel Architecture) framework will continue to function as they do today. That framework will continue to be fully supported standalone.

Howdy, Stranger!
