Taleo Integration: User Type and User Group - Data Privileges, Access & Restrictions

Hi

We have a non-Taleo Careers site that we are integrating with our Taleo.

We have created a user for integration and assigned below User Type and User Group.

User:

<UserName>

User Type:

System Integration (Administrator WebTop)

User Group:

Name = Main Group; Domain: • Recruiting • Reporting and Analytics • Requisitions • Search


We have few queries:

1. Is this the only required setup for any third party integration with Taleo?

2. Which service/end-point and data restrictions can be applied through User Type and User Group?

3. What service/end-point and data privileges are granted through above ‘Web Admin’ User Type & 'Main Group' User Group?

4. Do we need to create separate customer User Type and User Group, to restrict the access to third party to say just: Job Sync (Taleo -> CareersSite), Candidate Status Update (Taleo -> CareersSite), Candidate Pre-offer Sync (CareerSite -> Taleo). Can we restrict access to only these operations and not allow third party to have access to do other things?
