Can we add a custom alert to be triggered in a checklist task?

Hello,

We have the following requirement:

Our client wants a notification to trigger on each checklist task. For example when an offer is accepted , the hiring manager or a person who is not in the recruiting team must receive a notification to inform him/her that a particular candidate has accepted an offer for a specific job. They want that to be triggered from a checklist.

Can someone advice if this requirement is feasible?
