Issue: Skip HRBP Approval for Performance Documents

Summary:

We are running into an issue when HRBPs are not assigned to departments. Performance appraisals for employees in departments with a missing HRBP were improperly pushed through to the second-level manager. We require HRBP approval for PAs.

We are aware we can edit the approval process, however, we wanted to collaborate on this forum to see if there are any other potential processes anyone has in place. We question the following:

What process (if any) do you have when it comes to ensuring the proper HRBP gets assigned to the department after terminations, legal entity transfers etc.?

What does your current approval process look like to ensure the HRBP approves the PA?
