What is the proper alternative to Adaptive Search aggregates Roll-ups is NOT it

Summary:

Roll-ups and Adaptive search aggregates (from what I understand) are not the same thing functionally. So if Adaptive Search is being deprecated, what do we use to provide aggregated information to people for their custom lists???

AGGREGATES:

As I understand, Adaptive Search Aggregates are user-controlled on the Workspace UI. Users, when building custom (ad-hoc) lists, Saved searches, or using published lists can click on the pencil icon in the top right corner of the list and they get a "manage group by" setting. In here they can group the data query by a particular attribute and then also establish which aggregate they want to display for that group. This has proven EXTREAMLY usefull and has been WIDELY well received by those who've learned of the feature. It has avoided sales managers having to rely on analysis to
