Offboarding journey not getting triggered after employee is terminated

Hello all,

We are facing issues with offboarding journey getting assigned when worker is terminated. We are expecting that is should get triggered even if their account is still active with an ex-employee role. Post termination, we have mapped an ex-employee role to be added after HR Assignment Status changes to Inactive. Checklist action we have selected is Termination and Resignation, but still the offboarding journey is not getting triggered. See below:
