How to Run Reports when Workspace button is clicked?

We are trying to simplify the process of sending a report out via email. We are looking to find how we can establish work space rules so when a button is clicked a report will be generated and emailed to a specific distribution list.

We have not been able to find a response to this on the forum, has anyone done this previously and if so how was it accomplished?
