Progress with Redwood: Redwood Resources for Oracle Cloud HCM -  Go Here

How will goal synchronization impact existing 'in progress' documents in responsive UI?

Summary:

If we switch on goal synchronization while we are still in responsive UI:

  • Will existing performance documents continue to work (ie. will employee still be able to manually update goals sections)?
  • Do we need to also need to schedule the "Synchronize Goal Data in Performance Documents" job?

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

We are planning to make a few updates to our responsive UI now, to make the transition to Redwood a little smoother later in the year. We currently use anytime documents for our probation process. If we switch on goal synchronization while we are still in responsive, will documents created using the existing template still function as expected? We are likely to have staff who are part way through their probation meetings and their documents will still be active. Will they still have the existing actions button, that allows them to update the goals section within the performance doc?

Howdy, Stranger!
