Unable to add custom fields to Redwood Help Desk employee view

Summary:

I am unable to add custom fields to the Employee HRHD edit view. I have re-added the fields via Application Composer several times but I get the same issue when trying to preview it in Visual Builder. It fails to appear with the new fields in preview. Is there a issue with the system?

I tried to add a Dynamic field and a check box field and none of them are displaying in the UI
