Redwood UI – Unable to Create Contact Using Custom Role (“Permission is required to edit this field”)

 

Hello everyone,

 

I’m implementing Oracle Fusion Sales (Redwood UI), and I’m facing an issue when trying to create a Contact using a custom role. The user can open the Create Contact drawer, but it appears blank and shows the following error:

 

“Permission is required to edit this field.”

 

Steps done so far

 

1. Created a custom role with the following privileges:

 

- Create Sales Account Contact
- Update Sales Account Contact
- Create Sales Party Contact
- Update Sales Party Contact

 

2. Ran required processes
