Best practices for batching and send strategy?
Hi Eloqua Community,
I’m scheduling a weekly newsletter send to a list of ~20,000 contacts (dedicated IP) and currently have:
- “Break send into smaller batches” enabled (typically over ~5 hours).
- Send usually happens mid-week.
I’m curious how others approach this in Eloqua to support deliverability and consistency.
A few questions:
- For large sends, do you prefer sending within a single day (batched over a few hours), or spreading delivery across a longer window / multiple days?
- Do you ever segment by engagement level and send in phases (e.g., most engaged first, then moderately engaged, then least engaged)? If so, have you seen measurable benefits?
