How to automatically complete tasks in a journey

We have a requirement in Oracle Recruiting where certain candidate documents are collected earlier in the process through Request More Information. These same documents are later included again as tasks in the Preboarding Journey.
We need a way to automatically detect when a candidate has already uploaded the required documents earlier and prevent the system from asking for them again during preboarding. Ideally, if the document was already provided during the Request More Information step, the corresponding task in the Preboarding Checklist should be automatically marked as Completed.
