Notify supervisor if a hold is released over a certain amount

Summary:

Right now if there is a hold on the invoice the buyer is brought in to either release or acknowledge the hold. We are wondering if it is possible to also bring in the buyer’s supervisor if the hold is above a specific threshold and the hold is released. So for example, Buyer releases a hold that is $100 over the PO price, the system will then pull their supervisor into the approval to either release or acknowledge the hold.

Alternatively, if this is not possible, would there be a way to send a notification to they buyer’s supervisor any time the buyer releases a hold over a specified amount?
