Journey not tied to assignment - Challenges

Summary:

Hi,

We have an Exit Journey configured and it's triggering to employee when a termination is approved. Now when we want to run reports with the responses down the line like 3 months later etc. and if any employee is rehired with in these 3 months again then report is giving work location, dept. etc. from current assignment but not from the assignment location/dept at the time of journey completion.

This is causing incorrect metrics by work location/depts. Anyway to resolve this issue?
