Performance Document: 'Share and Retain' Button

in Performance Management

Hi Oracle Community,

I'm implementing the Performance Management module in Oracle HCM Cloud and have a question about the "Share and Retain" button in the Performance Document.

Can anyone tell me what it does? Why should we hide it or leave it in? I'd like to better understand its use within the system.
