Redwood- Goals and Performance -Seeded Notifications

We are currently transitioning Goals and Performance Reviews to Redwood and would like to understand whether there are any changes to how seeded Talent notifications are configured. At present, these notifications are managed through Talent Notifications. Can we continue using this approach, or should notifications now be configured using Alert Composer in Redwood?
