How to hide a competency section summary rating description

Looking for a way to only hide the rating description that appears in a section summary. We still want the numeric to appear just not the description. This is only for the section summary (i.e. competency section) and not the overall summary section. We want this hidden for both the employee and manager. We are using Redwood.
