Is it possible to hide the "Add a comment for the notification" option within the Performance Doc?

Summary:

We have the Share Performance Document & Confirm Review Meeting Held steps enabled in our Performance Process Flow. In each of these steps, there is an open text comment box that says "Add a comment for the notification" that can be modified by the person completing the step. We have concerns about free text inputs that might be entered into these boxes. I can't find any way to hide these within Visual Builder Studio or within a Sandbox. Is this possible to hide?
