Journey Embedded Task - Biographical Information

Summary:

We have set up an onboarding Journey with a task using the Embedded Application task type, mapped to allow employees to update their Biographical Information. However, when the employee opens the task, the edit icon is not enabled — the fields appear read-only and cannot be edited.

We've enabled the Edit button via Page Properties, but employees still can't see it in Embedded task. But when the same employee navigates to Me → Personal Details outside of the Journey or through application task, they are able to edit the Biographical Information without any issue.


Has anyone faced this before? Any suggestions on what could be causing the edit option to be disabled specifically within the Journey task context.
