Unable to Create REST/SOAP API Application – "Field Service API" Option Not Available

in Field Service

Hi Experts,

I am trying to create a new application in Oracle Field Service for REST API authentication.

According to the Oracle documentation, when creating a new application under Applications, I should see the "Field Service API" option.

However, in my instance, I only see the following authentication options:

  • OAuth User Assertion
  • OAuth Client Credentials

The Field Service API option is not available, so I am unable to register the application required for REST API access.

Environment:

  • Oracle Field Service
  • Applications → Add Application

Expected Behavior:

  • The Field Service API option should be available while creating the application.

Actual Behavior:

  • Only
