Redwood My Goals – “Pending Submission for Approval” Banner Appears Despite Auto Approval

We are experiencing the following behaviour in the Redwood My Goals page for Performance Goals and would appreciate your advice.

Scenario

An employee creates or edits a Performance Goal from the My Goals page using the Redwood interface and submits the changes.

At the system level, Auto Approval is enabled for Employee Performance Goals. However, after submission, the following banner continues to be displayed on the goal:

• Warning: “Pending submission for approval”
• Message: “Submit or discard the changes you made”
• Actions: Submit and Discard
