The manager is receiving the email notification that the document is due

Summary:

The manager is receiving email notifications indicating that the performance document is due for their employee (direct report), even though the document is already in Completed status.

Could you please let me know where these notifications are configured and how we can prevent or stop notifications from being sent for documents that have already been completed?

I checked the Alerts configuration as well as the Workflow Notifications under the Reporting and Analytics area, but I was unable to find anything related to these notifications.
