Goal Plan closure vs. ability to update Goal Status and Progress Notes (Redwood)

Hi all,

we are working with Performance Management and we need a clarification on the expected behaviour and possible configuration options for goal plans after closure.

We have observed that, when the plan is closed:

• employees and managers cannot update the Goal Status (e.g. Not Started / In Progress / Completed),
• and they also cannot update the Progress Notes, even though these fields are displayed in the right‑hand panel of the goal.
  

Is this current behaviour (full block of the goal record, including status and notes, when the plan is closed) the standard, expected behaviour in Performance - Redwood?
