How to restrict the project number LOV in distributions on Purchase Requisition

We are looking for a way to restrict the list of projects available in the Project Number LOV on Purchase Requisition (PR) distributions, so that end users can only select from projects relevant to them rather than seeing the entire project master.

We are implementing Oracle Fusion Cloud Procurement (Procure-to-Pay), and have a business requirement to restrict the Project Number LOV on PR distribution lines to show only a filtered subset of projects to end users.
