Restrict procurement category LOV selection on Purchase Requisition

We are implementing Oracle Fusion Cloud Procurement (Procure-to-Pay) and have a business requirement to restrict the list of procurement categories available for selection on Purchase Requisitions — certain categories should not be selectable by end users.

We investigated whether any standard Oracle Fusion Procurement setup exists to control or filter the procurement category LOV on requisitions (e.g., category lists, requisition business function configuration, or category security). No existing standard configuration was found that restricts the category LOV for specific users or roles at the requisition level.
