How to Modify Active (In Use) Performance Template in redwood

Summary:

Hi,

We want to update a performance template that is already "In Use" but the checkboxes are grayed out. Is there any way we can make those updates without creating a new performance template? The current template is assigned to many employees. We have canceled and the deleted assigned PD to employees.

Kindly suggest on next step.Still we can see template is showing as In Use option as Yes.

Please suggest on how to proceed further?
