How to exclude benefit plans from Open enrollment in the same Benefit Program?

Summary:

We have a Benefit program that includes LTD and Optional life plans for our new hires. We are using that same benefit program for our Open enrollment life event where we do not allow LTD or Optional life changes. How can we display the LTD and Optional life plans in the New hire life event while not displaying these in the Open enrollment?

We want our new hires to be able to pick their current benefits for medical, dental, vision, LTD, Optional life etc.

Our Open enrollment is active now through November for plans beginning 1/1/2027. Current new hires will be selecting plans for November and December coverage starts. We intend on the new hires completing their new hire life event, we will close that and start Open enrollment for them afterwards. The rest of our population is doing open enrollment currently. Since we have plans they can not change, we do not want them to see those in the open enrollment life event.
