Your Access within the Community - Cloud Customer Connect
<main> <article class="userContent"> <p>Cloud Customer Connect consists of the <strong>Applications community</strong>, the <strong>Infrastructure</strong> <strong>community</strong>, and additional <strong>Transformation </strong>content targeted for Line of Business leaders and executives.</p><p><strong>All Oracle Cloud Applications customers and approved partners</strong> are eligible to join Cloud Customer Connect. As an <strong>Applications Member</strong>, you can access all Applications resources including Forum Categories, Idea Labs, and Events. These resources can be found under the following menus: </p><p>1. <em>Categories > Applications</em></p><p>2. <em>Ideas > Applications</em></p><p>3. <em>Events > Community Events: PRODUCT > <Application></em></p><p>4. <em>Learning > Forums/Idea Labs</em></p><p>In addition, Application members can also access all Infrastructure resources.</p><p><strong>The Infrastructure community is available to anyone</strong> – you do not need to be an Oracle customer to join. As an <strong>Infrastructure member</strong>, you can access all Oracle Cloud Infrastructure resources that are found under the following menus:</p><p>1. <em>Categories > Infrastructure</em></p><p>2. <em>Ideas > Infrastructure</em> menus</p><p>3. <em>Events > Community Events: PRODUCT</em> > Infrastructure</p><p>Transformation content found under the menus <em>Categories > Transformation</em> and Events > <em>Community Events: TRANSFORMATION </em>are accessible to all Cloud Customer Connect members.</p><p><strong>Why am I getting a Permission Problem error when I click on a link within Cloud Customer Connect?</strong></p><div class="embedExternal embedImage display-medium float-none"> <div class="embedExternal-content"> <a class="embedImage-link" href="https://us.v-cdn.net/6034893/uploads/L69KN1AHEZ27/snap4.jpg" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener ugc" target="_blank"> <img class="embedImage-img" src="https://us.v-cdn.net/6034893/uploads/L69KN1AHEZ27/snap4.jpg" alt="Snap4.jpg" height="100" width="355" loading="lazy" data-display-size="medium" data-float="none"></img></a> </div> </div> <p>If for some reason you are getting a<strong> Permission Problem</strong> error page, this is because you have navigated to a part of the community you do not have access to.</p><p>To verify what type of membership you have on Cloud Customer Connect, go to your <a href="https://community.oracle.com/customerconnect/profile/" rel="nofollow noreferrer ugc">profile </a>page and look at the Role field to see whether you have the <strong>Applications Member</strong> role and/or the <strong>Infrastructure Member</strong> role. </p><p><em>Note: Oracle Employees has access to both Applications and Infrastructure communities irrespective of Roles assigned.</em></p><p>If you would like to apply for access to the Applications and/or Infrastructure communities, you can go to the <a href="https://community.oracle.com/customerconnect/profile/edit" rel="nofollow noreferrer ugc">Edit Profile</a> page, select Edit Interests on the left, then specify the additional Oracle solutions you are interested in.
