Cloud Customer Connect consists of the Applications community, the Infrastructure community, and additional Transformation content targeted for Line of Business leaders and executives.
All Oracle Cloud Applications customers and approved partners are eligible to join Cloud Customer Connect. As an Applications Member, you can access all Applications resources including Forum Categories, Idea Labs, and Events. These resources can be found under the following menus:
1. Categories > Applications
2. Ideas > Applications
3. Events > Community Events: PRODUCT > <Application>
4. Learning > Forums/Idea Labs
In addition, Application members can also access all Infrastructure resources.
The Infrastructure community is available to anyone – you do not need to be an Oracle customer to join. As an Infrastructure member, you can access all Oracle Cloud Infrastructure resources that are found under the following menus:
1. Categories > Infrastructure
2. Ideas > Infrastructure menus
3. Events > Community Events: PRODUCT > Infrastructure
Transformation content found under the menus Categories > Transformation and Events > Community Events: TRANSFORMATION are accessible to all Cloud Customer Connect members.
Why am I getting a Permission Problem error when I click on a link within Cloud Customer Connect?
If for some reason you are getting a Permission Problem error page, this is because you have navigated to a part of the community you do not have access to.
To verify what type of membership you have on Cloud Customer Connect, go to your profile page and look at the Role field to see whether you have the Applications Member role and/or the Infrastructure Member role.
Note: Oracle Employees has access to both Applications and Infrastructure communities irrespective of Roles assigned.
If you would like to apply for access to the Applications and/or Infrastructure communities, you can go to the Edit Profile page, select Edit Interests on the left, then specify the additional Oracle solutions you are interested in. If you are applying for access to the Applications community for the first time, your customer or partner status will be verified.
