Re: CVE-2022-42889
Hello Andreas,
The jar names do not always reflect the actual version or content. Other jars such as those in the $MW_HOME/oracle_common/modules/thirdparty/features subdirectory do not need to be upgraded as they contain only Manifest files.
1. commons-text_1.6.0.0.0.jar
2. commons-text.jar
]$ unzip -p commons-text-1.6.jar META-INF/MANIFEST.MF | grep Version
Manifest-Version: 1.0
Implementation-Version: 1.10.0 <<<<<<<<<<<<<
Bundle-ManifestVersion: 2
Bundle-Version: 1.10.0 <<<<<<<<<<<<<
Specification-Version: 1.10 <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

Re: About Oracle Created Accounts
All, the Oracle predefined administrative and non-administrative accounts are listed in the documentation so if anyone sees this thread and has questions there can check the documentation.
Managing Security for Oracle Database Users
This is basically the same place Mr C found his quote to leave the accounts alone.
Re: Last Upload for "failed logins" is over a year old
Yes, we recive alot of alert from our OEM (and emails), but not for failed logins (tablespace space, disk space, asm space works fine) which dont seem to trigger at all. Might open an SR for this.

Re: P34795383 question:
Hello,
Apply Enterprise Manager 13c Release 5 Update 3 patch 33588912 or its later Release Update version patch on all OMSes before applying this patch using Rapid Platform Update.
This step is needed if you plan to apply the patch using Rapid Platform Update. You can ignore this and directly apply this patch using OMSPatcher and use the Raping Platform Update from next time onwards.

13.5: Frequently Asked Questions on Patching the OMS using Rapid Platform Update (Doc ID 2784806.1)
At any point of time only the 3 most recent RUs are available for download.
