Re: Moved to stock and item not visible in receipt routing
Hi,
This happens when Display Tab Processing Option #1 (Move Quantity to Inventory) is set to blank, which means “Do Not Display”.
When this processing option is blank, lines with operation codes that update inventory are hidden from the grid.
To view lines that were moved to stock and allow receipt reversal, set the processing option to 1 (Display lines).

Re: How to run AWR in PDB/CDB
Goes to prove that Chatgpt is unreliable, which is something I noted many times already. I also had some yes/no questions like 'is it possible to ..' and Chatgpt got it wrong, which is an issue if it is a yes/no concept.
As you know, multitenant is actually the concept of being able to run different instances from one Oracle Home. A bit like people would do in the past, when sharing an Oracle Home, but because of introduction of 'containers', and especially the root container, it's a specific setup but the objective is the same : running different Oracle instances in one Oracle Home.
So, logically, everything you used to do in the past on a 'normal' database, we now have to think : how does that make sense in containers ?
Like for example AWR. It's a performance analysis of 1 instance. So, if you have multiple instances, it would make sense you would run them seperately. Right ?
In addition, there's the root container. Does it make sense to run it there … well, less, but it's an option as the root container is a container.
So to answer your question, can AWR run on a specific container : absolutely. In fact, most question would be the sense it makes on a root container.
For multitenant specifically, it's extremely important that you know how to connect, to any container, and this from any client tool you use. You should always know where you are connected, and how to check this if in doubt. This is not related to AWR specifically, this is multitenancy. In addition, the same for usage of 'sysdba'. One can assume that if connected to a normal container, anything works like it did on non-multitenant databases. Yes, there will be differences, but logic should explain these. But, when connected to the root container, don't expect that one to work like a normal (old) database instance.
Re: How to run AWR in PDB/CDB
well it is and isnt, getting the snaps connected to root is fine, I know I can see them that way, Im connecting to my container and I dont see my AWR snaps but I do when I connect to the PDB. Its not something I had thought about when we moved to multitenant. Our infrstructure DBAs who moved us to CDBs said they didnt do anything to move them
Im hoping something would say "yeah thats expected when you move to multitenant, heres what you have to run to see them from your session"
….anway a trawl of chatgpt and some prompting has led me to get answer that no its not possible you have to be on the root, which is fine if thats what I have to do. but it requires a separate connection. Ah well.
Re: Concerning DTLS support
Hi Antonio,
I am currently trying to interconnect with a third-party SBC, but they only support SHA-256. Therefore, I must match their security requirements.
I have already opened an SR to address this issue. Thank you for your assistance!
Thanks.
Re: Concerning DTLS support
Hello
I'm afraid that SBC , despite certificate is signed with sha256WithRSAEncryption , is using SHA1 .
So what u can do is to open an SR , so Oracle support can give u confirm , or wait for a newer version where SHA256 can be used .
Actually SHA1 seems to work almost everywhere , but I understand u'd want to be free to use whatever algorithm u desire
Cheers
Antonio
