Re: GI infrastructure download for Linux x86-64 does not work
yes, clearing the the complete history and local stored data solves the problem.
Re: Opatch for OMS24ai
5. Ensure that you have OPatch version 13.9.4.2.20 or later on all OMSes.
oms> ./opatch version
OPatch Version: 13.9.4.2.17
Thanks, I will download a new Opatch.

Re: How to calculate the equivalent server
Hello,
Oracle’s Exadata Storage Servers do not directly report CPU usage per database in their basic metrics – they provide overall cell CPU utilization (e.g., metric CL_CPUT for total cell CPU) rather than a breakdown by database. To estimate how much storage-cell CPU and I/O load each database generates, you must leverage Exadata’s IORM metrics. Oracle’s documentation explains that Exadata IORM uses the database’s unique name to collect per-DB I/O statistics (when an interdatabase IORM plan is in effect). These IORM "Database metrics"(objectType=IORM_DATABASE in CellCLI or OEM) track each database’s share of I/O throughput and resource usage on the storage cells.

Re: Where is the (CPU) Apr 2026 for Oracle Database?
New MOS Knowledge Search still does not list the CPU Apr 2026. Oracle needs to fix the search. Customers are tired of these flaws and glitches in the new MOS. Customers pay support and Oracle must deliver a much better support site. The old MOS Metalink was 100% better than this new MOS support site. I am disappointed and frustrated with Oracle with all the trouble with the new MOS that never ends. This is a clear lack of planning and consideration for the customer experience by Oracle.
Re: Oracle upgrade 18c to 19c on RHEL
One such best practice is to read the Upgrade Guide for your target version. Here is the upgrade guide for 19c:
And when you upgrade to 26ai, read that version's guide as well. It will be similar but contain important differences.
Re: Question on Effect on FLSA
Thanks so much, Nicole! I knew you would have the answer. I appreciate it!

Re: How to download multiple patches at once
So now the WGET option to download a patch is back. however it's still impossibile to select multiple patches at once to obtain a single WGET script to download them all together.
How dumb can this be?! Do you guys at Oracle ever use your brain to think about the usability of these features? I guess not.
Re: How to download multiple patches at once
@Margi-Oracle why is Oracle unable to bring back the option to download multiple patches at once? What is the purpose of the checkbox beside each patch number if then there is no option to download the selected patches all together? It looks like this portal has been designed by someone which has no idea about how to design an interface. I highly suggest hiring someone with experience in UI design, so you will be able to understand why this new design does not work.
