What PeopleSoft Customers Need to Know for IRS 2026 Filings
Re: the recommended odabr backup did not work for ODA X9 , what backup method / tool can you recommend ?
Hi,
That is correct. Customers are not supposed to extend LVMs on X9 and in your case 2 of them were extended
> LogVolRoot#VolGroupSys#-wi-ao----#50.00g########
> LogVolU01#VolGroupSys#-wi-ao----#60.00g######## ,
As a result, you have only 56GB space on LVM.
ERROR: 2026-03-06 14:59:58: Available LVM size of '56 Gb' is less than required snapshot size '140 Gb', exiting...
This is covered in Using free space on the local disk on ODA within the LVM volume group VolGroupSys -
KB110544
This document shows how extend /u01 or /opt file systems if it is really necessary. Only applicable to BM.
By default most ODA models, except X9-2, have unused space on the internal disk within the LVM volume group VolGroupSys.
Unfortunately, 56GB is not enough space to take a backup.
There might be tools on the market to take complete disk backups, but Oracle doesn't test any of them.
The only exception was: ODA (Oracle Database Appliance): Clonezilla a backup&Restore solution - KB130661
Please consider reimage/redeploy the machine and leave the LVM sizes untouched, so you could use ODABR.

Re: Resource Management: How does table RS_SRCH_HDR table get populated?
Hello @Otto Schmid ,
I hope all is well with you over there ;o)
Thanks for creating this new Service Request. I have re-assigned it to me, and will be working it with you directly from the portal. Will post the outcome of our work in this post once resolved.
Have a great day!

Re: Impact of HMR Rejections on SBC Source IP Blacklisting
Hi Daureen,
I’m not planning to replace registration entirely. However, for a small subset of users, skipping registration would significantly simplify my architecture.
Most users will still register as usual—after all, without registration, they wouldn't be able to receive incoming calls, right?
Thanks
Re: Performing a new JDE system setup for 9.2.26.1
I would personally always start with the maximum 32-Bit release level first to set everything up and get it running. That would be 9.2.5.6. If all is good, go for 64-Bit and a higher Tools Release.
Apart from this, what does your jde.log say about all this? There's a TON of things that can go wrong here and in this process in general, so you need to be as precise as possible and give us more details.

This link works for me.

Re: PYLOAD data load
Oh!!! I should add: YES you can do One-Time Deductions via PSHUP.
I put together some basic instructions many moons ago for my previous employer but honestly things have not really changed:
