NSC | BOM Revision Field Goes Blank On Edit Mode Of Purchase Order

edited Jul 23, 2025 1:54AM in Accounting / ERP

Scenario

User is editing a purchase order, the BOM Revision field (related to Bill of Materials) goes blank in edit mode, and since it's mandatory, you can't save changes.

Cause

It seems that for purchase orders involving assembly items, the BOM Revision field depends on the Bill of Materials column being displayed. If it's hidden, the system may not load the necessary BOM data, leaving the field blank and preventing saves.

Solution

To resolve this, ensure the Bill of Materials column is visible on the custom form:
Step 1: Go to Customization > Forms > Transaction Forms and select the "Outsourced PO Form."

Howdy, Stranger!
