Hi Bryan, Thank you for reaching out and providing such a clear explanation of your payroll situation—that definitely sounds frustrating, and you’re right, SuitePeople Payroll should be able to help automate this! Unfortunately, right now SuitePeople Payroll applies benefit deductions based on each payroll run rather than…

Hi @Red9, Thank you for your update and for sharing how you’ve handled this so far! Training your team when to use the “Technician/Employee Name” field is definitely a solid workaround if a script isn’t an option right now. Many users start this way, and it can work well as long as everyone understands the process. If you…

Hi @Lee Ann R, Thank you for sharing those screenshots and details—that’s really helpful! About the “Main Line” filter: In some saved searches, the Main Line filter might be listed as “Transaction: Main Line.” Try searching for “Main” or “Transaction” in your filter options—sometimes it’s hidden until you type it in the…

Hi @Red9, Glad to hear you got the field working on your line item! That’s the right approach—using a script to show the custom field only when the “Customer Labor” service item is selected. This should make tracking the technician/employee much easier and help keep your records organized for payroll. If the answers here…

Hi @Martin Lodovico GCNA/Raymo usa , Thanks for clarifying your needs! NetSuite doesn’t provide downloadable HTML templates for online forms, but you can make your own easily using basic HTML. Here’s an example of a simple lead form template you can start with—just update the name attributes to match your NetSuite field…

Hi @User_IM2YY To route approvals to departments instead of supervisors, SuiteApprovals is the most flexible option. You can assign a department approver and set up routing rules based on department and your 10% tolerance. If you’re not using SuiteApprovals, you’ll need a custom workflow to base approval routing on the…

Hi @Jet Zhang Great question! While NetSuite doesn’t natively print the filter values in the report header for saved searches, here are some practical ways to work around this: Option 1: Add Filter Columns to Results Wherever possible, add the fields you’re filtering on (such as “Service Unit,” “Bank A/C,” or “Date”)…
-
Hi @User_WA9MO Glad to hear you’re moving forward with a script! Here are a few quick tips for your developer: Script Type: Use a User Event (afterSubmit) or Map/Reduce script targeting the Journal Entry record type. Logic: The script should look for newly created depreciation journals, then set the custom segment field on…

Hi @Lee Ann R, Thanks for providing the detailed screenshots and criteria. I see the negative scrap quantities are appearing, but the totals still seem off compared to your "Sales By Item" report. Based on what you’ve shared, here are a few steps to help resolve the discrepancy: Add the “Main Line = No” filter: In your…

Hi @User_WA9MO, This is a common scenario: Custom segments often don’t automatically carry over to depreciation journal entries generated by the Fixed Assets module. Here’s what’s happening: While your segment is filled in on asset records and transactions, NetSuite’s standard depreciation process doesn’t natively source…
-
Hi @Chandanesh, You’re right—NetSuite doesn’t track payments at the invoice line-item level natively. Payments apply to the total invoice, not specific lines or items, so standard saved searches and workflows can’t pinpoint if/when a “TAR” item line itself is paid (especially with partial payments). Currently, there’s no…
-
Hi @Lee Ann R, It looks like your saved search formulas might not be picking up all the credit memos for your scrap locations. In NetSuite, sometimes {transaction.location} and {inventorylocation} don’t always match on credits—try using both in your formula to catch everything. Try this for your Scrap formula: CASE WHEN…
-
Hi @Jayben Fung, Here’s how you can try adding your custom “Payee Name” field to the custom check template in the “Apply” subtab of the bill payment: Expose the Custom Field to the Transaction: Make sure your custom field (“Payee Name”) is available on the Bill or Bill Payment record, either by sourcing it or using a…

Hi @Toanne Termeer, Since we cannot reproduce this in our testing environment, we would not be able to find the root cause of this issue. I highly suggest that you file a Support Case to our Support team since they have the possibility to access to your replica account for testing which in this case is needed.

Hi @Hakesville You can try this: Create a Rich Text custom field on the Customer record (e.g., “Credit Hold Alert”). Set up a Workflow (Customization > Workflow > New) for Customers. Add an action: “Set Field Value” for your new field. Use this formula:CASE WHEN {credithold} = 'T' THEN '<b…
