This is how we achieved viewing the latest ratecard version when ever you run the search.

Thank you all for helping. Especially Chelsea, thanks i followed your suggestion and managed to get close to what i need to report on a weekly. Ive had to use the amount (credit) field even though it contains the sums with VAT. will work on this in future should and when management want just the total without vat. I used…

Hi Michelle, the problem seems not to be related to permissions. I created a custom role and added every single permission on View. I get the same problem of not being able to see messages relating to the client via a saved search when criteria is empty. Although i could be wrong. See below image, when i add the client…

Thanks Tigran, we're aware of the timeline function, but its not how we intend to interactive with our records. Michelle, see attachment thanks The criteria is blank. Its just the standard saved message search we pick. heres a snippet example. with Admin role With a custom role viewing the same record.

Hi Patrick, The field is custom, just to extract the weekly working hours and yes, The idea of the saved search is to show each week. So if someone booked time to a project for example in week 1, there is utilisation If someone did not book time in week 2 for that project , utilisation will be 0% and show 0%

Hi Patrick, i am aware of that, unfortunately the company does not seem to be using the netsuite default practice of calculating time. See attachment of results tab.

Hi Patrick, thanks for the suggestion, but what we need is a dynamic way to always show only the latest version and its prices. Do you have a suggestion how this can be achieved in a saved search or even a workbook. If saved search how to do this via criteria?
-
Hi Patrick, There is no standard on the version. Unfortunately our company use billing rate card differently to how it was suppose too, since we dont yet have a long term solution we are forced to continue using the current method. So a new version does get created bi annually/annually. We are currently on version 22 for…

Ive ended up just using a scheduled script rather then a executable button on the static group form page and will just train our colleagues to wait for the schedule to run. If needed as admin i can execute the script manually on request.

Incase its useful for anyone else. Netsuite have been great in investigating and providing the answer. Big shoutout to CS in netsuite especially Krissa who handled my case, she was very prompt, patient and determined to resolve. Below is the answer. Basically its row x column = no of cells. Enhancement # 781061 Summary:…

Hi Patrick, Thanks a mil for this. It worked. This guide should definitely be in suiteanswers or the official Orcale netsuite guide though.

Hi Angela, thanks for the input, unfortunately you cant remove this subtab from the form. Thank you Michelle, i have read the entire article on that, have tried removing all possible permissions before submitting this on the community for some help. Still unresolved.

Which record would contain the fee rate amount? Billing class or the billing rate card?
-
This issue is not just applicable to my computer/role/browser, it was a reported incident in our company, and so as the administrator when testing, the same results occurred for me on my end. We're just using the default rate card. If you can help raise a case to look into this that would be great.
-
Yes this has been raised as a support ticket 5714619…all i got from netsuite was to refer to suiteanswers.

Hi Patrick, Yes. When you create a new billing class, it will appear in the rate card. The company made a mistake of creating a billing class for every employee, and so they all appear in the rate card. When in the rate card itself that window where your viewing billing class 1 and pftest, if there are more then 435…

Changes were done by the system. The other issue with billing rate card is you can only view 435 lines. theres no scroll column and so we're having to change the name in the billing class to start with AAA to bring it to the top of the list in the rate card.

Here is an example. you can see work calender is 10:00 i have then changed there work calender to standard 37.5 As you can see, the work calender has picked up the change. I go back one week The calender has picked up the new 37.5 . So this means that all historic timesheets will show as 37.5 hours. Missing timesheet…

Hi Wee Ming, thank you very much for your help on this, its a great solution as opposed to me trying to use a script. Many many thanks.

Im using administrator role. Have tried using Power BI. We dont use the other apps.

Ok thank you.

I've found the answer to why a time entry line gets greyed out/hatched and is uneditable. Its because a charge based rule had been created.
-
Yes but that still does not help drill down to the details. In your screen shot example. you have 2 entries with 2 errors. You would need to click the complete link to take you to the details of the record with the issue. My question is how to create a saved search that can view all these failed record details. Many thanks…
-
Hi CDUF, thank you for the input. Although time tracking is not what im interested in. Its to do with finding the errors of updating time entries. Do you have any experience with resolving failures when updating time entries? its usually to do with a period thats locked. When you click the complete link under submission…
-
Hi thank you for replying. The entry has been approved, but not yet billed. I mainly want to find out why the line gets hatched/greyed out, and the system does not allow editing and under what circumstance does it occur. any advice on this?
-
Still not figured out how to. Currently you can go to the list, which shows you the error message, but it does not give you the details of which staff have the issue, and the only way to view the issue is to open the record manually. Surely there is a way to create a saved search to find the record and see which staff has…

Hello, i have found the solution to this.
