Thanks very much. I have done the setup and sent a request for a bulk token from my email vendor. Assuming everything works how do i disable the Netsuite server? Edit/Inactivate is not an option in the setup screen.

US too, this if first time for us

if you used a Test order to artifically set a higher order number and it stuck, can you not use a test order to artificially set it back to where it should be and have it stick?
-
Surprisingly we have had no issue here at all. We also upgraded on the 20th but so far no problems. My only problem is I have a new user and Netsuite for Outlook will not install properly on his machine. This has been ongoing since before the upgrade. NS has logged a defect for that as well.

slow in upstate NY, I blame the snow

No trouble here. What happens when you try to process them?

Is anyone else experiencing some really shoddy performance? Transactions are especially sluggish to load/save... Yes, we have noticed the same thing of late.

Hi Nathan, we're experiencing the issue here as well. We've opened a ticket with Netsuite (#283131) as well. It's currently classified as S1 and should be fixed soon. It's currently affecting all companies I believe. I get the feeling it is only affecting those who have already updated to 2014.1. It is not affecting us and…

https://system.netsuite.com/app/accounting/transactions/transactionlist.nl?Transaction_TYPE=CustInvc whenever i click on this to view the list link for invoices.... i get this error page Error An unexpected error has occurred. Please click here to notify support and provide your contact information. now what? how do i find…

To further expand on Wizards point. Think of a transaction as a snapshot. It reflects whatever company information there was AT THE TIME THE TRANSACTION HAPPENED. Changing info in the present does not change info in the past.

east coast USA working fine so far today.
-
I haven't encountered this problem. What kinds of things are you changing? In case it has some bearing on the issue.
-
Go to Set Preferences and on the first page under defaults, click the box titled "Show only last subentity" that will get rid of the parents in a general search.

Do the imports set the pricing as a custom price level? Or one of your tiered prices? I just did a test using my test account and a real customer account. I did a quote for my test account and then tried to convert the quote to a sales order and changing the customer to one of my real customer with a diferent pricing level…

Assign a Pricing Group. Under the financial tab of the customer youll see Group pricing next to Item Pricing. add the customer to the pricing group and assign the price level you want that customer to be charged for those items. Them assign that pricing group to all the items that this applies to and setup a pricing level…

Keep in mind that if you make a kit item, sales of that item do not properly report Cost so it becomes impossible to figure margin and other stats on those items. And the component items if sold as part of a kit do not report the sale when it was part of a kit, only when sold as a separate item. Thats my experience anyway.

We have implemented a workflow to take care of this. If a customer has different people getting different transactions we make a workflow to send sales orders to one contact within the customer and another to send invoices and credits to the AP contact. If you would like help setting up such a workflow let me know. It is…

Not a problem. I added a new item field by going to Customize>Lists, Records, & Fields>Item Fields>New. Then I gave it a name "Item Category" a type "Multiple Select" and a List/Record to refer to. The list record was a list called Item Category which I had already created at Customization>Lists, Records, &…

We had a similar issue. We sell parts for school buses and needed to break things down by categories, subcategories and what type of bus different things worked with. We made custom fields and added them to our item form. These are all multi-select fields and there are lists of categories, subcategories and bus types…

It should take 3-4 days.

This is brilliant but one thing is missing. "Reserve Complete" EG we have 7 in stock and the customer wants 10. I want to commit the 7 but not make a part shipment until all 10 are available. It sounds to me like what you are looking for is option A then mark the sales order as "Ship Complete". Am I missing something else?

Thanks all for the suggestions. It was a site/item cache issue so i did a Cache Invalidation Request for the entire site and that cleared it up. Not sure how often that is going to raise its head again.

When I went to my first Suiteworld in 2014 right after our go live, I found the best value for me came from some of the sessions, they either gave me insight into things I was already curious about or gave me inspiration to look into or try other things I hadnt thought of. The networking with other clients in the same…

Megan, I would be glad to try and help. My first question is are you using fiscal periods, or real world months for your accounting?
-
There is part of the problem. We have been all through this with support. At the moment, quotas are set using the real world Gregorian Calendar months and there is no way to set them in Netsuite by Fiscal period. Therefore if your reports are going by Fiscal period it cannot reconcile that with the real world months.…

Yes Go to the customer record, System Information tab, Access subtab. You should see the contacts listed individually. Click the "Access" check box then assign or enter a password for them and their email address and click save. Try it on a test account first to make sure it works correctly for your purposes.

You are my hero. I never even thought about global permissions. Thank you.
-
Thanks. All set now.

OK, so I got my phone today and installed Netsuite for Android and I can log in as any role accept Admin. Admin is supposed to have all permissions. It is not in the list of roles for editing. What do I do now?
