Is this the actual announcement for the change? ' Free On-Demand End User Training Free On-Demand e-Learning modules designed for NetSuite End Users learning how to navigate and use your NetSuite account are now available. Included are Getting Started modules and SFA for Sales Reps. More titles will continually be added.…

Angela, can you get to it from the Support Center? There should be a tab there for NetSuite University, then the "click here to view" link, which goes to: http://www.netsuite.com/portal/services/training_01_elearning_list.shtml Hey but you know what? This list is different than when I accessed it recently, and I don't see…

ok, color me a dorkus, but are these unavailable again?? I cannot get into the training video again, specifically, the marketing 101.
-
Yes, we have updated the NetSuite University eLearning to reflect the new 2007 version. We have released the general "Getting Started" trainings for new users to get familiar with the NetSuite product as well as a Sales Rep track for daily SFA tasks. Marketing, Support and Accounting tracks are currently being developed…

Thanks so very very much, Chris. You rock! :D

Exactly, Cecelia. Also, to take it one step further, it would be a great move in the way of good faith if they were to leave the existing trainings in place until they are able to replace them. To just wake up one day an find them gone is a bit harsh, in my opinion.

I just sa your thread, at the same time it gave you the boot, it did it to me as well. said my e-mail wasn't valid, though. Had me wondering.... Maybe it's an Oregon thing. Been that kind of a day for certain.

You may want totry exporting your COA, then copying and pasting exactly as it appears. Worth a shot. ;)

Now, more than ever, I miss that smiley with a perfectly straight line for a mouth. Not sure what irks me the most here, the fact that item number can't be a number, the csv assistant isn't very assisting, or that I need help to learn the upload process. sigh.... JMU, you are, as always, wonderful. Thanks.
-
And while I could not reproduce this oiginal rounding issuein my version of Excel, it is reproducing now, with a vengance, in Office 07. I need stock in advil.

OK, for the record, here is what I can say for certain: Imports with the primary identifying fields that are numerical are affected (Name, UPC, Vendor UPC,) when the name is rounded, the UPC also goes haywire. No primary fields that have text seem to be affected. About 10% of the total imported are problematic. This is…

OK guys, ready for round 2?? In using the below information, we are working with another huge item upload. Since I know we have to change the number to text, I know which direction to go, right?? As someone mentioned below, first we tried entering the number as it should be, with dashes like this 123-123-1234. It is text.…

Wow, JMU, that was a mouthful. Not sure what is more frightening, the fact that that makes sense, or that I actually understand it. :D I was the upload Guru at Symantec, and 100k - 200k line uploads were not unusual, and this never happened to me with those, and lots of fields were numerical. That is why I am so annoyed,…

direct list editing is your friend. :-). Yeah, and thank god I know excel well enough to match up and find all of the wrong ones. (The same thing happened to the SKU's) I have to match up on the descriptions, then backtrack and fix the item names and sku's. At least DLE makes the final fix easier, once all the reconciling…

Upon looking into this a bit more, I can tell you that the same thing happennd to th images that were uploaded. The names of the images (they are named their corresponding item number) are just as skewed as the item numbers. Going to be a long weekend. :(
-
Thanks, JMU, but I still think this is a bit outrageous. Here is why. I have confirmed that the uploaded file did not have rounded field numbers. The numbers were correct when introduced to NS. I am certain of this. To take this one step further, and to really point out that NS has issues with numerical fields, I have…

case # 618069

OK, now I know the problem. CSV imports are not working with office 07. When importing from an earlier file, it works like a dream. I have to go relay this, not going to be a 'fun to be me' day.
-
well, I just had to come back to this thread and update it. I will try not to go on a rant here.... I have a definitive answer on what went wrong, at least. JMU- you get the gold stars, you're right. It seems that the case has been closed, and here is what went wrong. I thought that the fields 'item number' and 'upc code'…

I am not sure about this but I also have this problem when I list my 13 digit ISBN numbers for the book items in inventory. I think the problem is in the CSV excel file. If I save the file and close it before I try to import the numbers look like this...9.78079E+12 - they will not post like they are supposed to.…

Check out what using the search button in here brings up. search on "buttons outlook", then look for something along the lines of '2 new buttons in outlook' amazing thing, that search bar ;)
-
Thank you. I didn't mean to go that high up, but hey, if it works....:D Your wonderful, Evan.

I had this problem not to long ago. It about made me crazy, and I cannot tell you what was happenning, but I can tell you how I got around it. First, I could not get the attachment to open from the e-mail. When I tried to open it, I could only save it as a *.bmp- so I reopened it in paint, saved as a *jpeg. The problem…

This is really strange, this case is not even listed in the support cases for this account. Will someone PLEASE confirm that this case exists, and give me some kind of feedback as to what the status is? I know this was an S2, but keep in mind, when sales orders and invoice cannot be saved, no sales can be made. Help!!!!!
-
ok, make that 9 times. Time to call support. Edit- another PICNIC error. all fixed :D
-
Ahh, apparently, my steps were not clear enough, even though it was less than a moth ago. Go figure. At least I tried. ;)
-
Do you ever use the adjustment worksheet, Angelika? What is the approximate date of the transaction?
-
and who says NS doesn't listen ;) Kudos, Todd, you guys rock!
-
Anyone from NS want to comment? Is there any hope for this? Why/why not?
-
Hey, Ian, What are the case numbers - or any kind of reference numbers? This is something they really may want to think about, so give us something to latch onto with you.....
