You can customize this report by adding "Address: State' Then grouping the column by 'State' When you save the custom report, Voila! Total sales by state ~angela

I'm using a transaction search. The criteria is difficult to find as they are not in alphabetical order, as seen on the screenshot. Anyway - I hope you can get what you're looking for. 🙂

Hello, I think that your issue may be attempting to source a field value from a field that is not storing the value. When you don't store the value on a field, it is visible but not available to source. For the Custom search to calculate the discount rate, is that captured on the SO as a custom field that isn't storing the…

If I understand you correctly, you want to create a workflow that will 'press' the 'preview tax' button? It sounds like you use SuiteTax, and with 2024.1, users must now click 'preview tax' to calculate the taxes. Perhaps some users are not pressing the button and taxes aren't being calculated? Are transactions being…

My apologies - by tax agency should provide you with what you're looking for. It'll show taxable and non taxable sales. Sorry for the confusion. ~angela

This can be done using permission to the electronic banking setup, I believe. Here is a link to the Suiteanswer that outlines the permissions for restricted users…. I hope this helps….. https://suiteanswers.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/35023/loc/en_US

You can generate this in NetSuite by navigating to reports> Sales Tax US>Sales Tax Liability by Tax Entity. Hope this helps! ~angela

In the 5 accounts I just reviewed (subscription billing, Manufacturing and financial first) whenever an account number is defined on the vendor record, it appears on the vendor bill memo field. This occurs upon the bill creation, and the system notes show that no workflows are in place for the 2 I tested. It appears to be…

You can't add Customer Main Line Or Customer Project? Note that they are not in alphabetical order in the list.

You can easily check the status of any issues at status.netsuite.com. It doesn't look like any interruptions have been reported. If you file a case, and it's happening to others who also file a case, NetSuite will investigate. I hope this helps! ~angela https://status.netsuite.com/

The easiest way to do this is to set your search to 'Sales Order Status' with the status being 'Pending Bill. This is assuming that you aren't billing in advance of fulfillment. On your search, you can set the email flag to include 'send when records are updated'. ~angela

Hi Michael, I'm glad I could help! I'm not 100% clear on what I did, but if you have what you need, awesome! ~angela
-
Do you have item location configuration turned on? If so, the locations on your item records are a subrecord instead of a sublist. This will alter the search type I suggest. ~angela

Answer is D.

If you only recently enabled advanced bill of materials, a lot of what is included in this thread won't make sense to you. At a high level, when advanced BOMS is enabled, for all assembly items: You will need to create new Bill of Material records. (this is nothing more than a record attaching the next one to the assembly…

When you delete the bill payment, and recreate it - you will need to then open the February reconciliation and check the new bill payment to clear. (make sure the replacement bill payment is dated correctly). It's really easy to re-reconcile. ~angela
-
Since it is enabled, navigate to the assembly item, go to the subtab 'Manufacturing', click on the Current Revision. If advanced BOMS is enabled, but you haven't updated the BOM and BOM Revision, you won't be able to edit the revision (it was created automatically when advanced BOMS were enabled). It is on the BOM Revision…

Ugh, I thought so. Your options seem to be to delete the bill payment (after noting all information) and recreate it by clicking 'make payment' again on the bills. That's my suggestion. It's clean, will remedy the issue, and will let you move forward. Note that if this continues to occur in your account, you should file a…

OK, then when you are 'switching' over to the match bank process, are you doing it at a time when the prior month is reconciled, and you're starting a brand new reconciliation? Trying to reconcile using the old reconciliation screen and match bank data in the same month is exceptionally difficult. It's possible to do, but…

This is really odd. I've never seen a bill payment without a bill applied, and this is clearly offsetting AP (as it should but without a bill to apply I'm not sure how it was created) If you haven't already tried this, if you click 'make payment' on the vendor bill, do the bill payments show up as open credits available to…

With a bit of digging, NetSuite Outlook Integration has been deprecated and is no longer available per SuiteAnswers 83223. Outlook integration allows you to attach your emails to NetSuite records directly from Outlook. You can use a third-party integration to synchronize emails and calendar events between Outlook and…

Hello, Were those transactions cleared on a reconciliation already? You can check by navigating to lists>Accounting>Accounts, and click on the account name. This will bring up the register, and you can see if the items are 'cleared' or not. If they are cleared, they will show up with a cleared checkbox=true. ~angela
-
Is your trigger either before or after record submit? When you complete the 'save as' process, can you view the workflow logs, or is it not triggering the workflow at all? ~angela
-
Hello, Outlook integration with NetSuite is free - it's available in all accounts. There are MANY third party options you can choose from, including a custom solution. If you might clarify your question to specify what email provider you are currently using, that might help? ~angela

If it is not creating the work orders for the sub assemblies, you need to update your BOM Revisions to reflect Source=Work order. It probably says 'stock' right now? I don't have one handy that shows a subassembly, but if you have these on BOM Revisions as a sub assembly, the choices will include 'Work Order'. Once the…

Navigate to Setup>Accounting>Accounting preferences, and in the general subtab, enable 'Show all transaction types in reconciliations'. Once you have that enabled, let me know what specific transaction you feel is missing, and I can walk you through troubleshooting it. ~angela

Hi Angelica, Thanks for the clarification - apologies if I came off as offensive, it was not my intent. It's unusual to see your team send people to their AMO so I was curious. Thanks for all of your help - you and your team are highly appreciated! ~angela

Let me know if you run into any issues. This is a very common requirement, and I have implemented 'pro forma' sales orders in countless accounts. I prefer simple approaches that don't require heavy customization - The solution outlined in my comment only actually customizes the advanced pdf layout - and leverages native…

If this is what they want, then they need to mark all assemblies as 'special work order', and then set the sales order to 'pending approval'. Immediately upon approving the sales order, all work orders are automatically created. ~angela

Once the upgrade was complete, I requested that the upgrade to the Suiteapp be provisioned, and I was able to upgrade the Suiteapp. A lot of fuss for something straightforward. Ugh.
