Netsuite and site are down. :h_a_w:

This confused support so I thought I would post a note. The debug code is comments so you must use view source to see the issue. google-site-verification: googlec846be31e9414a7b.html <!-- 376 31% #156--> <!-- [ sh.j6.sv ] [ 2010.1.1.73 ]--> <!-- [ TSTDRV594040 ] [ ] [ /s.nl ] [ Fri Oct 08 08:03:11 PDT 2010 ] --> <!-- Not…

refurb, Agreed, I switched to meta tag verification. Support says that the debug code has been there for years. I'm not sure what happened but it is not worth the time to figure it out.

This fix for this was released this morning. Please let us know if anyone sees it again.

However if the URL has parameters appended, e.g. http://www.refurbups.com/Replacement-APC-UPS-Battery-Center?sc=2&category=197 it does NOT work! We have an item URL which is formated as follows: /Christmas-Tree-Six-Foot-Pre-Lit-Red-Red /Christmas-Tree-Six-Foot-Pre-Lit-Red-Red?sc=7&category=53 We had to create a redirect…

When a known agent such as GoogleBot fetches a page, NetSuite understands it is a bot and does NOT attach the parameters on the URL. Your concern was handled in 2007.2.

Same issue: Our Case# 783537 Created: Images not displaying properly.

I have a customer that called and said that they clicked "add to cart" and it opened up a blank page that never loaded. I asked what the URL was (for the blank page) they said it was .... I had the same issue around 3:20pm Central on August 29 2008. Customer called and said when she added an item to the cart, the page…

System wide deal Issue 134882

Quite impressive how fast it was back up for so many web stores. Thank you for getting this back so quickly.

Well, I just thought I was done. A fellow NetSuite user told me of issue 134600. He received an email about 5:30pm last night stating that thee was a fix undergoing testing. You would think a something as important as issue 134600 - 'Allowing Viewing of Unencrypted Credit Cards' checkbox suddenly becomes unmarked/disabled'…

Almost done part 2. Well, while I was on the phone with a support rep, another support person re-enabled the permission. I can tell this by looking at the case history. NetSuite Case 644337 Nov 13 08:48pm - Case created Nov 14 08:05am - I call and talk with support rep A Nov 14 08:52am - I uploaded the signed PCI DSS form…

This post is to document this situation in hopes that it never happens to anyone else. This is both a technical and business process breakdown. We were upgraded to v2007.1 on October 8th. We filed case 630554: "Addendum to NetSuite Terms of Service" to get the permission from October 8th is closed. That is when the…

D.J. I am guessing this is the same issue. This same problem will occur with web services as well.

We know for a fact that some drop shippers want to use Sales units when drop shipping, which is why we did it the way we did and why it would have to be a preference. Evan, Instead of a preference, how about having a "Drop Ship Purchase Units" field on the item level. That way people could has purchase unit for normal PO's…

Based on the following: We know for a fact that some drop shippers want to use Sales units when drop shipping, which is why we did it the way we did and why it would have to be a preference. The quote of people wanting to use sales units on drop ship PO's does not resonate with me. I do not see the business case but that…

I think we are on the same page. In the case you describe, having purchase units and drop ship purchase units would solve the issue. Doing via preferences would work for our situation. I was thinking that having both drop ship purchase units and purchase units would provide greater flexibility that preferences. Whichever…

Tom, I have voted for this enhancement.

It is a broken feature and it is producing the wrong results for NS users, so in my book ...it's an issue. That is a great question, my opinion is not easy to type. The lack of functionality to automatically convert the Sales Unit on the sales order to the Purchase Unit on a drop ship PO is enormously painful. The…

Ian, I just digested your graph. Wow, a slow ping time is the most basic form of performance, if that slows you are in trouble. What utility are you using to create this? Thank you in advance.
-
As an update, I checked performance about 4am Central Time and performance was back moving great: <!-- 726 73% #68--> Support just called and asked if we were still having the problem, the performance is now: <!-- 2,111 87% #210--> <!-- 315 57% #74--> <!-- 2,304 57% #372--> (this is a complex page) Support did state that…

i.e. pings can be slow because higher priority traffic is given preferance. Oops, yes I could see how ping would be given a lower priority. :o

Are redirect supposed to be just for invalid urls that are being redirected to valid ones? I do not know for sure but my guess is that redirecting URL's that are display in web site = True would but a challenge.

Interesting. I tried: http://test.cfhi.ca/s.nl/sc.8/catgegory.23/.f which redirected to: http://test.cfhi.ca/s.nl/sc.8/.f?catgegory=23

Basilfawlty, After further study, it appears that the category in question is marked as "Display in Web Site" = False. Is this correct? If so, I am not sure what to think...
