Thanks for confirming. I have a few more questions: Did you log out and log back? Did you clear your browser cache? Can you manually select the new Saved Search view in the Sublist? If yes, does it stay the main View if you log out and log back?

Thanks for the clarification. If you enter the "Purchase Price" on the Item Record, it won't auto-update based on the most recent PO. If you use the Auto Fill feature, it will populate the PO lines with the Purchase Price used on the most recent PO for the selected vendor:

Hi @Craig_Verde, On the document you shared, it wasn't visible if you checked the checkboxes beside the applicable roles: Did you do that step? Thanks.
-
Hi @User_YFUMH, Does your question relate to "Cost Estimate Type = Last Purchase Price"? If yes, then the "Est. Unit Cost" on the Sales Order line will populate the cost of a drop-ship item based on the most recent Purchase Order. It is unnecessary to have a Receipt or Bill generated from the PO for the cost to get…

When you say "Global Search", are you referring to this field? And when you say, "The number of results for these searches varies widely (388, 510, 1777, for identical searches on the Item page)," do you mean the number of results changes even though you are searching with the same keyword every time?

Greg, I agree that moving the invoicing to NetSuite is better long term. Regarding the Avalara Tax Code, I was suggesting to: Have the Avalara configured in NetSuite, too Connect it with a non-Production Avalara, so the actual data is only updated based on SF When an invoice is created in NetSuite via integration with an…

I was talking about non-posting accounts and didn't realize you were asking about the GL11520, which is a posting account. The other side might be a Write-off transaction or something similar. It would be different from company to company. Can you check the Register for GL11520 and see if you can find the balancing entry?…en Why is VRMA posting to strange GL account? Ah, that explains it. I didn't realize you were using the "Created By" for filtering. The "Created By" field queries a List/Record for all entities stored on the account and is limited to showing only 1,000 records. You probably have less than 1,000 total entities (e.g., Vendors + Customers + Employees, etc.) in SB, which…

Thanks for the update. Is this a Transaction Search? Could you share the screenshots for the Criteria and Filters?

If you go to your Chart of Accounts list, you will notice that the "Balance" for all non-posting accounts is "Blank". NetSuite doesn't consider them as actual GL accounts, and they aren't part of any Financial Report and DR/CR balancing requirement.en Why is VRMA posting to strange GL account? Hi @RobSpector, You don't need to worry about the initial GL impact of VRMA as it is a non-posting transaction: The same applies to transactions such as Sales Orders, which only have a non-posting GL impact. The leading practice is to rename all non-posting GL Accounts (e.g., GL 99910) into a different naming convention,…en Why is VRMA posting to strange GL account? Yes - you bring up a good point. Please try this:

Hi @Fabss, There can be several reasons, such as: The Saved Searches aren't 100% identical in Prod vs. SB The Saved Searches aren't run by the same roles in Prod vs. SB The person running the Saved Search is the "owner" in only Prod or SB Let me know if any of these resolve the issue. If not, I will propose a few other…

Thanks for the clarification. Creating a new item every time the Pay Rate or Bill Rate changes isn't a Leading Practice. Over time, this will clatter the item list and the system and also negatively impact the reporting, historical comparability, and more. Can you edit the Saved Search and add this to the Criteria and see…

Thanks - this is helpful. When you uncheck the "My Preferred Search Results" checkbox, does everything work as expected for the users? Although the tooltip for the "My Preferred Search Results" checkbox on the Saved Search mentions "Global", in my experience, it only applies to the "Quick Search" portlet. The official User…

Hi @User_JIC0H, Would you like a Saved Search for all Vendor Bills with no applied transactions summarized by Bill Creator?
-
Hi @Paul L. Walker, When you say "I have customized the global item search", are you referring to this? If you could post a few screenshots depicting the issue you are having, it would help with the troubleshooting. Thank you.

Thanks for confirming, @Renee Bernier, Then, it is surely possible to edit the Advanced PDF and update the country display type for Taiwan. I am not an expert in Advanced PDF editing, but the source code update would look something like this: <#if record.country?contains("Taiwan (Province of China)")> Taiwan <#else>…

The "Avatax" Tax Code is set on the customer record to indicate the customer is taxable via Avalara. However, the main driver for the Avalara Tax Calculation is the Tax Code set on the Item record.

@Renee Bernier, Is the screenshot you provided from an Item Record Sublist, a printed report, or another form? For example, if you want to change the country name on the Address Template, you would need to replace <COUNTRY> with Taiwan.

Yes - the EP bundle sometimes gets expired. In most cases, you can update the license expiry date via "Manual License Request": Once the license is updated, you should see the related templates. The EFT Template is used to process Vendor Bill Payments via ACH. The Positive Pay Template is used to validate Customer Checks.…

Hi @Eklon Eleuterio, Yes - you have the correct bundle installed (#464729). It's good that you have installed the NetSuite Licenses SuiteApp, as it helps track various licenses' statuses. You can also use it to request a refresh if the license gets unlinked from your account. Can you check the Status and the End Date of…

There are a few options to fix this: You can export all Time Entries with the exact details, memos, etc., then delete them and re-import them to auto-populate the Billing Classes. You can also do an "Update" CSV import by mapping just the Time Entry internal ID and Employee ID. Sometimes, "touching/refreshing" the record…
-
Hi @Renee Bernier, Could you please share a screenshot of where you are trying to change the country name? The Country name isn't directly editable. We can update the displayed country name on all printed documents or sent emails.
-
Hi @Fabss, The Billing Class cannot be updated directly on the Time Entry record. It typically auto-populates based on selected Employee and/or Service Item. Did you recently change the Billing Classes set on Employee and Service Item records?

Hi @User_R3C96, What are the criteria for sending out the email? Does it happen once the Sales Order is approved? You can create a workflow with the "Send Email" action to auto-send emails to the recipient entered in the custom field on the Customer record.
-
Hi @AndyC_2878, The default period filters aren't editable. It takes some to get used to them. Thanks.
-
Hi @Chandanesh, I am not 100% clear what the challenge is. Let's say the Sales Order is for $2000, you generated one invoice from it for $500, and that invoice is partially paid with an applied payment of $300. Are you trying to show the "Amount Remaining to be Invoiced" of $1,500 or something else?

Hi @Jake Pangan, Is this a native or custom field? If the user has access to the field, removing it from the form won't impact their ability to see the field value in a Saved Search.
