We are still having fulfillment errors at 3:24 cst. If you do a audit of our activity, look at the "federalfulfillment" user. Whenever they (our fulfillment company) attempts to mark anything shipped, they get the error "an unexpected error has occured...". So, they can't mark anything shipped today. Tom

I called NS. 1 hour and 30 minutes later, I hung up without ever getting through. The main thing I hate is the message being played every five minutes in my ear saying "we will be right with you". After the first hour it becomes quite annoying. They need to have a option to hold without the recording or it should just say…

Baruch, Before v11, we had already added a custom field called "Address Type" and the customer had to use a pull-down menu during check-out to choose residential or business. The pull-down is still there. How would we make NS see that field's contents and automatically set the new NS residential/commercial field to the…

I don't like giving away our secrets, but we use a company called Federal Fulfillment (by Chicago). So, if you are a competitor of ours...stop reading and go to the next thread. If you say that Tom from SignsDirect put you in touch it would be apprciated (i don't get anything from it). They do use NetSuite to check our…

Why not have a checkbox during web store check-out that says "this is a residential address YES/NO" and let our customers populate that field? T
-
Ecacho, please direct me to the "new ecom feature" area of the sneak peek doc.
-
Bill, I suspect what you say is accurate. It sure would be nice if NetSuite would tell us why this notion is incorrect. NetSuite, please let us in on the plan to advance ecom without an ecom "new feature list" section in v2015.1 sneak peak docs. Or, if it is really going to die a slow death... just say so.

We're using the current support version of "reference my account" despite the fact that clicking on an old order shows our customer a NetSuite error (known defect they're working on for many months). No responsive templates designed by and supported by NetSuite despite the fact that this is possible (in Site Builder…

If you find an alternative please let us know, we are an ecommerce business and Netsuite has not worked on keeping the web module up-to-date with new technologies, we will be interested in knowing which alternative you select. I wish Netsuite had spent money and time in updating other crucial parts of their software like…

Yes, ditto on the "horizontal label preference".
-
Our font for answering cases became super small. What gives?
-
I think there is a disconnect between Netsuite and it's client base, or at least, portions of the client base. Yes, and one "portion" would likely be those that depend on a NS store for their ecom. For what is worth, I'm an "Apple fan boy" and I don't use a pad or a phone to access NetSuite. I find it to be too difficult…
-
I like the new look. I do however wish that NetSuite's desire to provide a "bold new look" was centered around something that would actually make us more money. eg: a bold new look for our sitebuilder webstore. NS webstore templates are ancient.
-
These free suiteapps (this one and timeline) are great. We'd never be able to make a NS customization like this on our own. It feels like NS threw us a bone. Thank you! They don't make up for a dead sitebuilder ecom platform, but they are a bright spot for sure. How about some suiteapps that add ecom features to…

Can we change the location of the sticky notes? It is too "front and center" for us. I'd like it in a "Expandable" area like the timeline. The issue we have is that it loads slow. So, (when in a hurry to print a record) we're hovered over the printer icon and we go to click it right as the sticky not decides to load into…

They're saying 3rd quarter 2013. -Tom

We've been getting emails telling us about this error (XXXXXX = our NS account umber)... Account: XXXXXX Bundle Name: SuiteLabs Transaction Timeline BETA Environment: Production Date & Time: 10/11/2013 12:29 pm Execution Time: 0.08s Script Usage: 0 Script: TT Service SL Type: Suitelet Function: process2 Error:…

Timeline and the Drag & Drop were far more useful to us than the last few NS upgrades. Now, I'm thinking that the 'SuiteLabs' initiative is what I should be looking forward to and NOT the NS upgrades which rarely bring us anything that excites us as much as these two free add-ons. Bravo again to Malin Huffman. I wish…

It hasn't been too bad lately. NS runs a little slower than without it turned on... but the benefits outweigh the drawbacks. It was also aggravated by general NS slowness at the time that I reported the issue. -Tom
-
Yes. Ours is also at the bottom. The loading icon spins at the top of the browser window until the timeline has finished building the related record portlet. The problem is that we can't edit the transaction until the record is fully loaded (without having issues). So, even if it is at the bottom... it slows us down. Tom
-
We only have one ongoing complaint about the "transaction timeline". It seems to be slowing down NS transaction page loads quite a bit. Has anyone else noticed this? And yes, I have my user settings set to load with the timeline collapsed, but it often ignores that setting and loads open. I use chrome on a mac.

It is less risky with one-login ...from my understanding. No subs actually know the netSuite credentials when using one-login. They only know their specific one-login credentials and the NS credentials are never revealed to them. How is that riskier than giving them our NS username and password? The advantage is that we…
-
We want to share one login between several subs that rarely access our site. For that we use http://www.onelogin.com We're new to 1 login. Has anyone found a way to make it work with the security questions? Do you make a set of generic security question answers and then share those answers with your 1 login users? -Tom

BergerUSA, A key clause = "...or for any other reason deemed necessary". I see you've only got 4 posts. That explains the surprised tone that I detected. NS can and will delete posts. NS can and will ban you. So, if you value the data in here, you'll cow down to the great and powerful Oz.

Does dropbox and box let you serve up the images for webstore items or are they just for email attachments and such? T

The NetSuite Yammer integration instructions completely ignore one of the preference fields. It never mentions the NetSuite field labeled "Yammer System User Email". Is that field for the Yammer assigned ourcompany@yammer.com email ? Is that field for our myName@ourcompany.com email that I use to log into Yammer? -Tom
-
Upon my request, NS answered the question again. Given Answer = the yourName@YourCompany.com email address that you use to log into Yammer? IT IS NOT the YourCompany@yammer.com email address that Yammer provides users with.
-
I really hate asking questions to NS support. They usually don't read the question. I asked this... The NetSuite Yammer integration instructions completely ignore one of the preference fields. It never mentions the NetSuite field labeled "Yammer System User Email". Is that field for the Yammer assigned…

I just tried the beta version of 2012.2. YES, the "rolling average" or "trend line" has been fixed and now it is actually a true rolling average. WHAT A DIFFERENCE. Now, I set the averaging units to the max (10 units) and the line accurately shows me if the trend is going upwards or downwards and to what degree. Previously…

Set Up->Customization->Install Bundle Then filter by Location = Repository Then filter by whatever Keyword will find the bundle that you want. When it becomes available, that is where you'll most likely find it. That is where other NetSuite built public bundles are housed. -T
