ooop. Found another one. 3rd bug in 15 minutes and the orders are backing up. This is going to be a long day. Today we have a dashboard reminder that says "X Sales order to fulfill". Replace X with the numbers of orders to fulfill. I click the reminder and it brings up a list of zero sales orders. T

We also use non-integrated UPS labels for drop-shipped fulfillments. The fulfillment comes up with shipping method = UPS (non-integrated ). As soon as we change the status to anything other than picked; it checks the box for "integrated=yes". T

Yea, the wording makes it sounds like we are behind the scenes adjusting prices at the last minute to screw the customer. It doesn't sound like they just picked an invalid shipping method for what they have in their cart. Most customers wouldn't figure it out ..as it was. We did change the wording, but the error is still…

Well, we can't ship from either location. Is this considered "Down Time" in the NetSuite "UpTime guarantee"? I'm afraid not. We are "down" today, but since we can still log into NetSuite ....we are "up" in their books. It would be a meaningful guarantee if it included MORE than just the ability to log into our account! -Tom

Google "Experiences using NetSuite". These outages give me time to work on other projects. T

Thanks for communicating with us. We can't wait for the fix. Our orders are backing up and we have people sitting around doing NOTHING. Why all of the issues today? Was there some sort of "upgrade" last night? -Tom

Defect 147347 - Print Packing Slip produces an error and the sales order link in the Item Fulfillment Page is missing SUMMARY: Print Packing Slip produces an error and the sales order link in the Item Fulfillment Page is missing WORKAROUND: Go to Transactions > Management > Print Checks and Forms > Packing Slips and Return…

Now we can't save fulfillment records without an ERROR. I can open a Fulfillment and save it, BUT if I change the status to PACKED ....then it throws the error when i save it. Well, I guess I have time to go work on my "why I hate NetSuite" blog. -Tom Todays Issue Numbers = 742995 and 742996

We are in the same boat. We can't ship ANYTHING. We ship from TWO locations using two different printers and both locations are DOA. We get the NetSuite message.. "An unexpected error has occurred...". -Tom

So, we can't print integrated UPS shipping labels. In another thread, you will see that there are issues printing packing slips. We also can't SAVE item Fulfillments if the status is changed to packed. We also don't have a "created from" link on our in-house Fulfillments today. We also don't have the Drop-Ship PO number…

Justin, You could just create the sales order and NOT check the box for "get authorization" and save the sales order. Then edit it and check the "get authorization" button and save again. If it fails to authorize on the re-save, then your order data is still OK. I don't know if it is any faster, but it reserves the…

It's ultimately your call, but if this is a big problem, you can try unchecking the "Do not save encrypted pages to disk" option in Internet Explorer. We use mac, so IE isn't an option. Is there a work-around for Firefox or Safari?
-
Yes, but not designed for "Tiger" and very outdated and Discontinued by Microsoft years ago... On June 13, 2003, Microsoft announced that it was ceasing further development of Internet Explorer for Mac.... Microsoft recommends "that Macintosh users migrate to more recent web browsing technologies such as Apple's Safari."

New features, defect fixes or simpler design. That is a bit like asking someone if they want to be deprived of oxygen or water or food. In our business, I can think of crucial needs on all three fronts. one exampe of each... 1. Needed Features (less exposure = less sales) need feature = descriptive URLs for images to get…

I personally like the rich text editor in this user group much better than the one that was added to NS. A company (named Ephox) uses NetSuite to run their business AND makes a rich text editor. see Andrew's post at... https://usergroup.netsuite.com/users/showthread.php?t=2897 T

That stinks. I also eagerly anticipated this feature and now have issues with it not always accepting pasted text (that is formatted). It appears to accept it and then upon saving it makes the field blank. There are a bunch of rich text editor plugins for web applications. I don't know if NS made theirs or used an…

I found another improvement that is needed with the "copy SO" feature. It needs to offer to update all item's prices to the current prices OR ELSE give us a button on the copied SO that asks us if we want to update to current prices. We get customers that want to re-order the same items from a two year old SO and they are…

1. Go to any item in NetSuite (in edit mode and in firefox on a mac). 2. Go to the "store" tab in the item. Make sure the detailed description is COMPLETELY empty. It should say "Type text and format it using the toolbar" in light gray. If it doesn't say that, then switch to source mode and delete any text. Switch back to…

Is anyone else having trouble pasting text into the "formated text" box for any item's "detailed description" or "Store Description"? I have tested on Safari and FireFox and on three different macs at two different locations. None of them will take pasted formatted text. It disappears when you click "save". T

OK. This may not be a NS issue. After 20 minutes, we got the new web store category to load. The link to the new category was showing up on the Web Store, but clicking on the link gave us the "page not found" and then we were automatically redirected to our webstore's home page. I tried clearing our browser's cache.…
-
After submitting the new page, try wearing a rubber glove on your head and run 3 circles around your office building while repeatedly shouting "hallelujia" (for larger buildings, one lap may suffice). Duhh. That's the first thing I tried. I find that whatever browser I run NS in, I ALWAYS have problems with finding new…

https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/ says.. Total URLs in Sitemap 1792 Indexed URLs in Sitemap 8 We just uploaded a new sitemap last week. We also got the "too many redirects" error from Google. We make our sitemap using coffee-cup's crawling/indexing software. Help Since converting our web store to NetSuite over a…

NS, ANY WORD ON THIS ISSUE? -Tom
-
Can anyone say if they are NOT having this "too many redirects" issue with Google? -Thanks, Tom
-
Well, the "too many redirects" error message was removed from Google, but the extremely low number of indexed URLs remains.
-
It appears to be fixed now. -Tom

The server was offline for 116 minutes starting at 5:22 AM Pacific time. Less than 1% of our users were affected. This downtime event was counted as downtime against our uptime Service Level Agreement What good is the "uptime Service Level Agreement"? We had a 20 hour outage (WAY over the 99.5%/month service uptime…

Well, we have the big irritations which are the ones that cost us sales (like missing SEO features that are free on much cheaper e-commerce sites) and issues that cost us major losses in efficiency (like broken bin-management that we avoided on the advise of others). Then we have the irritations that simply make us waste…
